Every artist on 3 Hats ships their own artwork directly to you.
We aim to make the experience simple, transparent, and reliable.

Here’s a quick guide to how shipping and returns work.

🖼️ Who Ships My Order?

All physical artworks are shipped by the artist who created them.

Artists are responsible for:

  • 📦 Packaging

  • 🚀 Dispatching the artwork

  • 🔎 Providing tracking (when available)

  • 🛡️ Ensuring the artwork arrives safely

⏱️ Shipping Times

Because our artists are located worldwide, delivery times vary.

Typical ranges:

  • 🇦🇺 Domestic shipping: 3–10 business days

  • 🌍 International shipping: 2–4 weeks (depending on region, customs, and carrier)

Artists are encouraged to ship your order within 3–7 days of purchase.

🔍 Tracking

Most orders include tracking.
Once shipped, the artist will provide a tracking number to 3 Hats or directly to you.

If tracking has not been received within a reasonable time, contact:

🌐 Customs & Import Fees

For international orders, customs charges may apply depending on your country’s laws.

  • 🧾 Buyers are responsible for customs duties or import taxes.

  • ❌ 3 Hats and artists cannot estimate these fees.


🔄 Returns

📥 When Can I Return an Artwork?

Returns are only allowed when:

  • 🖼️ The artwork arrives damaged

  • 📦 The wrong item arrives

  • 🎭 The artwork is significantly different from the listing

  • ⚠️ There is clear evidence of a seller error

🚫 Returns are not accepted for change of mind.

💸 Who Pays for Return Shipping?

If a return is approved:

  • 🧑‍🎨 The artist pays for all return shipping costs

  • 🏷️ You will receive a return label or instructions

  • 📦 You must package the artwork safely

  • 🔁 A valid tracking number must be used

👌 When Returns Are Not Required

Sometimes, you may not need to return the artwork.

A return is not required when:

  • 🪙 The artwork is low-value

  • 🖊️ Damage is clearly shown

  • 🤝 The artist agrees

  • 🛠️ 3 Hats determines a return isn’t necessary

In these cases, you may keep, donate, or discard the item.

📦 Return Conditions

If a return is required:

  • The artwork must be returned in its original condition (unless damaged in transit)

  • Use sturdy, protective packaging

  • A tracking number must be provided

  • 💰 Refunds are issued once tracking confirms the item has been delivered back to the artist

Lost or Missing Shipments

If tracking shows the item was never delivered:

  • 📩 The buyer should contact us

  • 🤝 3 Hats will work with the artist to resolve the issue

  • 💰 A refund may be issued once confirmed

If the buyer provided an incorrect address, refunds may not be possible.
